Accommodation

In our biased opinion Midginbil Hill is the top pick!

These are our reasons:
1. This is the property where we are getting married! (See 'Location')
2. If you have had a few drinks or more you can peacefully stumble to your bed for the night
3. You'll be in the thick of the action - the whole concept for us was to have a weekend away with our nearest and dearest - and this way we can all hang out and maximise our time together in a lovely relaxing atmosphere.

Accommodation options at Midginbil Hill
(Note:  This is not luxury accommodation - it is cheap, clean and cheerful.  The rooms are designed only for sleeping and getting ready, so once you're up and about you can head up to the lodge for food and socialising!

The Lodge House
The lodge is an historic homestead built in 1911.  We will be holding our Friday night BBQ on the verandah of the lodge.  Everyone is invited to use the lodge house over the course of the weekend as the central hub for meals and socialising.  There is a big cold room next to the kitchen for storing any food and drinks you may want to bring.  The kitchen is fully stocked with crockery, cutlery and glassware so no need to bring these things along.  Next to the lodge house you will also find a heated saltwater swimming pool and tennis court available to enjoy!

The Lodge Rooms - Sorry friends, this has been reserved for family members.
Next door to the main lodge house there are rooms available.
There are 2 queen bedrooms and 6 family rooms (with a max of 8 people in each).  All rooms have their own en-suite.
Rooms vary in price depending on what bed configuration you need.
A single is $90 per night, double is $120 per night with an extra person for $30 per night.  8 people in a room works out to $37.50 pp per night.

The Bunkhouse - Available for all to stay in (Rooms go to those who advise me first)
There are 68 beds in the bunk house in 8 dormitory rooms.  6 rooms each with 10 bunk beds and the other 2 rooms with 4 bunks.  All rooms have en-suite bathroom facilities. The bunkhouse is $50 per person for the weekend (Friday & Saturday nights).  You will need to bring a pillow, sheet, towel and blanket or you can hire a linen package for $20pp.

Camping - Available for all to use
Plenty of space and green fields by the creek with wallabies and chooks a-roaming.  There is also plenty of bird life with over 120 species to be spotted!
You can pitch a tent for $10 per adult per night and $7 per child per night.  This also includes campervans, camp trailers and motorhomes, however please note there are no powered sites available (all facilities will be available for use though up at the lodge).
*BYO all firewood.                                  Sorry but domestic pets are strictly forbidden
